Technology teaches us how to embrace and coexist with it in a globalized world. The forum moderator and the panellists will highlight the key role of humans in their relationship with technology and the opportunities it offers. They will also discuss the risks of excessive dependence on technology and emphasize human responsibility in its control and use.

We invite students, researchers, scientists, members, and associations representing translators and interpreters in Slovenia and abroad, as well as representatives of translation companies, government bodies, businesses, cultural institutions, and all those interested in translation and the profession’s future. The profession is at a crucial turning point in its evolution. Be part of this moment.

The FIT Council consists of representatives from 17 countries, with 14 elected members and three co-opted members to ensure geographically balanced representation. During the 2022–2025 term, the following countries are represented in the FIT Council (listed in alphabetical order): Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Cuba, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Macao, Malaysia, New Zealand, Norway, Russia, Slovenia, South Africa, and Spain.
